There have been many changes, both in terms of staff and also the way our school is structured.  These changes are designed to meet the needs of our learners and enhance the collaborative nature of our school.

Walker Learning Approach
Our Te Tipu Suite, home to our awesome New Entrant team, is implementing the Walker Learning Approach. Whaea Marie and Whaea Katy, as well as our Deputy Principal - Mrs Rei, have attended professional development based on this very exciting investigative approach.  

In summary the approach provides  authentic personalised  learning that is effective across all cultural, economical, geographical, religious and social spectrums. It aims to bring deeper levels of engagement to  children in meaningful and relevant strategies that enhance academic skills alongside the development of skills for life particularly  in areas of social and emotional development, resilience, self esteem and independence.
