WELCOME TO TERM THREE: A
warm welcome to the new school term, and a special welcome to our newest
students and their families. This term
promises to be a very busy one, with a lot of extra activities planned,
including our major production in Week Nine (15-18 September). Information was sent home earlier in the week.
NEW PUPILS: We
welcome Joseph, Monique & Shaelyn into
our New Entrant Class in Room 5, and
BE INVOLVED! A general invitation to all parents and caregivers to be involved
in your children’s school activities.
Hopefully you will get something out of it, and your children will
certainly gain from having you take part.
JUMP JAM SUCCESS:
Something to celebrate: Our 2010
Jump Jam Team has made it into the National Finals again, for the third
consecutive year. This means we will be
fund-raising to get our team (+ supporters) to Taupo
in November. Our
congratulations to the Jump Jam Teamsters, and our thanks to Mrs Ange
Armstrong-Lush for her excellent coaching.
TRIVIA QUIZ NIGHT: Form
a team! Come along to the big night next Friday 30th in the school Hall. The last one was a great success and a fun
night out. Contact Dianne at the school
office by TUESDAY 27 July to confirm your
entry. Lots of great prizes; supper
provided. $40 per team of up to 6 people
If you cannot get a team together, you are welcome to register
individually as we can form teams on the night. Remember:

ADULT TUTORS NEEDED: It
would be great if we could have a few more adults to help us with our fantastic
ADULT TUTOR programme. Grandparents, Nans, family friends are all welcome to help us. Full training will be given, and be assured
that this programme MAKES A REAL DIFFERENCE for our children’s reading
achievement levels. If available, please
