INTERVIEWS / STUDENT-LED CONFERENCES: Our thanks to all parents for your turnout
to the student-led 3-way interviews at the end of last term. We had a high turnout, and we’ve received
some excellent feedback from many of you.
DID YOU MISS OUT? It is
really important that we have these meetings with all parents – this is a
critical part of your child’s learning and their well-being. If you missed for some reason, please contact
your child’s teacher to make a time.

CELEBRATION: FEILDING BUSINESS AWARDS: Last night, at the Feilding Business Awards,
“IRON BRION”: We
are pleased to be hosting the Beef & Lamb promotion again, with a barbecue
for lunch on Monday 9 August. If you DO
NOT WANT your child to take part in this, please let us know.
HELPERS NEEDED: We
need a good group of parent helpers for the “Iron Brion” promotion on Monday
9th. (8 people at 8.30am and 6 people
from 10.30am). There will be two
separate sessions in the hall, and they are catering for 200+ each time. Please phone Dianne on 323 6687 if you can
help us. Thanks!
TRIVIA QUIZ NIGHT: PTA FUND-RAISER: We have a large number of teams (18) entered
in the quiz night being held tomorrow evening in the school hall, and we have
now closed entries. This will be a great
night. Refreshments available, supper
provided. We also have some great
raffle prizes and an auction. Bring
cash!
“HOW ARE WE DOING” SURVEY OF PARENTS: Yesterday we sent out a yellow survey form,
asking for your feedback on our school performance in a range of areas
involving your children. PLEASE HELP US
BY COMPLETING THIS AND RETURNING TO THE SCHOOL. We have a lucky draw for all returns, for a
Robert Harris Coffee Voucher.
NEW PUPIL: We
welcome Jared into our New Entrant Class in Room 5, this week.
PLEASE NAME STUFF! We
seem to gather a large amount of children’s clothes, and so much of it is
un-named. PLEASE name
anything your child is likely to take off or lose.
HEADLICE NOTIFICATION from parents of Rooms 4 & 21 this
week. Reminder: we now have Robi
combs which you may use at school.
INDIVIDUAL & CLASS PHOTOS will be taken on Thursday 26
August. Order envelopes will be sent out
with the newsletter next week.
SCHOLASTIC BOOK CLUB catalogues (orders due by Friday 13
August) and CHALK catalogues
(orders due by Friday 17 September) have gone out this week. Extra copies are available from the Library.
