A Lytton Street School Variety Show

Monday 19 July 2010

Dear Parents and Caregivers,

We will be presenting our whole school production later this term.  Teachers and children

have already begun working on their class items and we are looking forward to this exciting event.

Creativity is our focus for learning in Term 3 and the children will be learning through The Arts curriculum area

(music, dance, drama and visual art).

Below is some key information for your diaries:

What:            A variety show where classes perform either a song, dance, play or mixture of each

                        around a New Zealand theme.

Where:          Civic Centre, Feilding.

When:           Performance Times:

                        Thursday  16 September:    7.00pm - 8.45pm.

                        Friday 17 September:         7.00pm - 8.45pm.

                        Saturday 18 September,     2.00pm - 3.45pm.

Note:             Classes will arrive at different times depending on when their item is.

You will be given a note by your child’s teacher later in the term with timing details.

Who:             The whole school.  Classes will work in pairs; also there will be dance groups, choir, Jump Jam,

Maori performance group and the school band.
